Older brother, Jacob, must've taken Sophia and some siblings to Ohio after the death of their father, Jacob, in 1832 (Sophia was then fifteen) as their mother predeceased their father in Maryland; but Sophia met and later married Ezra Delawter in Ohio when she was nineteen.
