She was born December 18, 1935 in Pocatello, Idaho, to Douglas and Louise Hall. She was the oldest of 3 children. Olene grew up in Inkom, Idaho and graduated from Inkom High School.
She married the love of her life and soul mate, Melvin Floyd Solomon. They were married November 27, 1953. They had 6 children, Vicky (Larry) Grover (Archer, ID), Mike (Julie) Solomon (Inkom, ID), Carry Lattimer (Inkom, ID), Cindy Richardson (Inkom, ID), Terry (Kendra) Solomon (Inkom, ID), and Todd (Moneac) Solomon (Inkom, ID).
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She lived a very fulfilled life, loving and caring for everyone.
She is survived by her husband of 64 years; her children; her 21 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren, plus one on the way; and 1 great-great-grandchild on the way; and her sister, Sue (Earl) Keating (Gibbonsville, ID).
She is preceded in death by her parents; step-dad; sister, Jill Carden; and grandson, Jason Lattimer.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 12, 2018 at 11 am at the Inkom LDS Church, 973 North Rapid Creek Rd. Inkom, ID 83245, with viewings held, also at the church, on Friday, May 11, 2018 from 6-8 pm and for one hour prior to the services on Saturday.
Interment will follow at the Inkom Cemetery.
