Graveside services for Mr. Gay will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 at Mount Zion Baptist Church. Rev. Kevin Moore and Dr. Larry Daniel will officiate. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, May 8, 2018 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
Born in Laurens County, Glenis was son of the late Elvis Gay and Loriene Flanders Smith; also proceeded in death by sister and brother-in-law Janie and Tony Poole.
Mr. Glenis was a deacon at Mount Zion Baptist Church. He was a former employee of J.P. Stevens/Forstman for 22 years. He retired from Georgia Department of Transportation after 12 years. He enjoyed dirt track racing and he served in the United States Army.
