Patricia A. Jaycox, 57, passed away with her family at her side on May 12, 2012 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center. She was born in Poughkeepsie March 22, 1955 the daughter of the late Roy and Lillian George Collins. On September 19, 1982 she married Michael M. Jaycox at Marist Chapel. He survives at home. Patricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a homemaker, enjoyed traveling, pool parties, spending time with her family and loved her pets.
Along with her husband Michael, Patricia is survived by her son Bryan Jaycox of Poughkeepsie; daughter and son-in-law Lesley & Steven Walberg of Poughkeepsie; grandchildren Karadyn Jaycox and Jordin Jaycox.
She was predeceased by her brother Roy Collins, Jr. The family wishes to thank the staff of nurses of South Circle 5 at Vassar Brothers Medical Center.
Calling hours will be held Friday, May 18, 2012 from 4:00-7:00pm at William G. Miller & Son Funeral Home, Inc., 371 Hooker Ave., Poughkeepsie, NY 12603. Pastor Daniel Ward of St. John’s Lutheran Church will preside over services on Saturday, May 19, 2012 at 10:00am in the funeral home. Burial will follow at St. Peter’s Cemetery.
