Nicolas Teodulo Hinojosa, 73, born July 22, 1935 and raised in Palito Blanco, Texas, went to the Lord on March 4, 2009. He was preceded in death by his parents, Marcial and Efigenia (Garcia) Hinojosa; and his sister, Margarita Startz.
He is survived by his wife, Odesia Jimenez Hinojosa of Alice, Texas; daughters, Lizze H. (Eric) Segura of Corpus Christi, Texas, and Estela H. (Florentino) Garcia of Alice, Texas; three grandchildren, Rian Garcia of Alice, Texas, Tino Garcia III of Alice, Texas, and Kevin Segura of Corpus Christi, Texas; sisters, Diamantina (Robert) Saenz of Surgarland, Texas, and Lilia H (Carlos) McGee of Palito Blanco, Texas; brothers, Charlie (Elma) Hinojosa of Westminister, Calif., Frank Hinojosa of Phoenix, Ariz., and Fred (Amy) Hinojosa of Riverside, Calif.
Other loved ones dear to his heart included Ike (Benny) Lopez of San Antonio, Texas, and Tony "Red" Garcia of San Antonio, Texas, and friends too numerous to mention. He always said he was related to everybody. He was a wonderful husband and loving father, grandfather and friend to everyone.
Visitation will be Friday, March 6, 2009 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited that evening at 7 p.m. in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel in Alice, Texas. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, March 7, 2009 at 2 p.m. in the Roberson Funeral Home Chapel. Cremation will follow.
