William Wayne McGaha, 76, of 107 Oates Avenue, died Sunday, November 12, 2006, at his home.


Born in Pickens County, a son of the late Frank and Ethel Bowen McGaha, Mr. McGaha was retired and had a love for music and song writing.


Surviving are his wife, Edna Chappell Entrekin McGaha of the home; sons, Ron and Frankie McGaha, Larry, Billy Ray and Dale Entrekin; a daughter, Judy M. Warren; and twenty-two grandchildren. In addition to his parents, Mr. McGaha was predeceased by his first wife, Agnes Bell McGaha, two brothers, Fred and Benji McGaha and a sister, Audrey Owens.


Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown. Burial will follow in Westview Cemetery.


Visitation will be from 1:00 until 2:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, prior to the service.
