Georgia F. Cannon, 80 of McLeansboro, Illinois, passed away Thursday, May 3, 2018 at the McLeansboro Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center.
She was born March 24, 1938 in McLeansboro, IL to Herschel R. and Hazel (Campbell) Cannon. She was a home maker and was a member of the First General Baptist Church in McLeansboro.
Georgia is survived by her brother, Jerry (Kathy) Cannon of McLeansboro; sister, Mary Lou (Harold) Griffith of McLeansboro; nieces and nephews: Rhonda (Glendal) Mitchell, Rayla (fiancé Matt Bilderbeck) Griffith, Jason (Amanda) Cannon, Jarrod Cannon and Raymond (Isela) Griffith; great nieces and nephews: Schilo Cannon, Seth Cannon, Darrian Cannon, Aca Cannon, Gage Cannon, Kelsey (Jordan) Brown, Brody Bilderbeck, Brenna Bilderbeck and Dylan Mitchell; and two great-great nieces, Evelyn F. Brown and Allie Brown.
She was preceded in death by her parents and one nephew, Scotty Cannon.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro with Rev. Ken Cook officiating. Visitation will be Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 1:00 p.m. at the Gholson Funeral Home in McLeansboro. She will be laid to rest at Brush Harbor Cemetery near McLeansboro.
