Ralph was the son of Harvey Wren and Mary Emma Wood Archer and was born near Blue Ridge, MO where he lived all his life with the exception of approximately three years when the family resided in Grundy County. Ralph spent his entire life farming, which he felt was an honorable profession in which he worked hand in hand with God. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and a brother.
Those surviving are his wife, Edna, son-in-law and daughter Marvin and Nancy Cross, son and daughter-in-law Dr. Robert and Marilyn Archer and a daughter Mary Jane Archer.
His memorial service was held November 11, 1984 at the Roberson-Polley funeral Home in Bethany, MO.
