Derwood "Doc" Bammann, 77, of Scottsdale, AZ passed away on August 10, 2006. He was born in Livingston County, IL to John and Edna Bammann on April 10, 1929, and had his own dental practice in Crete, IL until he retired to Arizona in 1993. Derwood was preceded in death by his daughter Cynthia Bammann. He is survived by his wife Gale Bammann of Scottsdale; daughters Dr. Angela Echterling of Cedar Lake, IN, Eloise Bammann of Villa Park, IL, and Francie Dunlap of Ames, IA; step-daughter Karan Ashlock of Springfield, MO; step-sons Kenneth Tripp of Griffith, IN and Keith Tripp of Phoenix; brother-in-laws Dennis and Alan Borgman; mother-in-law Lena Borgman; and his greatest joy, grandchildren Jessica and Jennifer Echterling, Kelsey, Michaela, and Delaney Dunlap, Chad Kroll, and Candice and Cody Tripp. A memorial service will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Friday, August 18 at Shepherd of the Desert Lutheran Church, 9590 E.
