James William Perry and Margaret Nixon were married on 21 Apr 1901 in Clark Co. MO and had the following children:

I. Marjorie Perry Lipper was born in 1904 in MO. (her name may be Margaret, according to 1920 census)

II. Zelma Perry Taylor was born in 1905 in MO.

III. Alta May Perry was born in 1907 in Luray, Clark, MO.

IV. Thurman Perry was born in 1909 in MO.

V. Leo Perry was born in 1912 in MO.

VI. Jason Perry was born in 1916.James William Perry, the son of Jephthah and Sarah Jane Bradford Perry, was born October 30, 1877, near Luray and passed away Saturday, May 31, 1969, at 9:10 p.m. in the home of LaHoma Gutting in Kahoka at the age of 91 years and seven months.

He was married to Margaret Nixon on April 21, 1901. To this union were born six children. Mrs. Herbert (Marjorie) Lipper of Wyaconda; Mrs. Wallace (Zelma) Taylor of Kahoka; Miss Alta Mae Perry of Ft. Madison; Thurman Perry of Kahoka; Leo Perry of Wyaconda; and Jason Perry of Memphis. Surviving also is one son-in-law, Wallace Taylor; three daughters-in-law, Mary, Edna and Emma Jo Perry, ten grandchildren and nine great grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.

Preceding him in death were his parents, his wife, Margaret Perry, three sisters, May Steffey, Constants Jardine, and Ida who died in infancy; two brothers, Charles and Edward Perry, one son-in-law, Herbert Lipper. And one grandson, Leonard Wayne Perry. Mrs. Jardine of Peoria died May this year.

Mr. Perry was a lifelong resident of Clark County.
