Funeral of WM. Hirshfield

Will Be Conducted at Broadway Presbyterian Church This Morning.


The funeral of William Hirshfield will be held at 10 o'clock this morning at the Broadway Presbyterian church, and will be conducted by the pastor of that church. Rev. Junius B. French, D.D.


The remains arrived on the afternoon Boulder, Col., at 5 o'clock Tuesday, and were met at the depot by a committee of Fort Worth Elks, by special request of the Elks Lodge No. 566 of Boulder, of which lodge the deceased was a member. The Elks of this city will attend the funeral this morning.


William Hirshfield was the son of Mrs. Joseph H. Ryan of Arlington Heights. He left Fort Worth about six years ago to undertake mining in Colorado, in which business he was successful. His death was due to an operation for appendicitis, and occurred at Boulder last week. He was about 35 years of age.


Mrs. Ryan accompanied the remains from Denver, in company with Miss Sallie Corning of Boulder, the fiancee of the deceased. Miss Corning is the daughter of George C. Corning, former treasurer of the state of Colorado. Her home is at Boulder. She was to have been married to Mr. Hirshfield at an early date.


Mrs. R.J. Parker, wife of Robert J. Parker, of the Parker-Lowe Dry Goods company; Mrs. H.L. Krowl and Mrs. H.P Pleasants of this city, and Mrs. James D. French of St. Louis are sisters of the deceased. Miss Mabel Ryan and Mrs. Isaac Withers are also his sisters, daughters of his mother. He was well known in this city and had a host of friends, many of them the schoolmates and companions of his boyhood. He untimely death is

deeply regretted.
