FUNERAL RITE SLATED FOR CITY RESIDENT

Jake G. Milbauer, 57, of 235 Fourth St., died at 3 p.m. Thursday at his residence.

He was born Nov. 11, 1911, at Wonewoc, Wis., a son of George and Elizabeth Hein Milbauer. He married Marian Olig at St. Mary’s Church, Fond du Lac, on Oct. 31, 1953.

Mr. Milblauer had been employed by Sears Roebuck & Co. for 20 years and retired June 1968 as division manager of the local store.

He served with the Army in the South Pacific as a medical technician with the 775th Tank Battalion in World War II. He was a member of the Disabled American Veterans.

Survivors include his widow; three sons, John, Michael and William, all at home and two sisters, Mrs. W. N. Norman and Mrs. Burton Kiewig, both of Baraboo. He was preceded in death by two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Zacherl Funeral Home. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.

Friends may call after 3 p.m. today at the funeral home.

Pallbearers were Arthur Mossong, Albert Balthazor, John Pitas, Ed Braun, Tag Swanson and Don Kinney. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery.
