Abner Marks, for many years a resident of the York Springs section of the county, died this morning at 2:30 o'clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Edward Trimmer, West Middle Street, Gettysburg, where had been living for some time.

Mr. Marks, who was 77 (76) years old, leaves a son: France (Francis) Marks of Five Points, between Hampton and York Springs; a daughter: Ms. Thomas Paxton of near York Springs; a sister: Mrs. George Stallsmith of Straban township; and a brother: Hiram Marks of Heidlersburg.
