Police Jury Candidate For Re-Election Outlines His Plans
Underwood Fourny, Ward 10 Police Juror, today issued his statement seeking reelection to that post. Two police jurors are to be elected from Ward 10 and in connection with his forthcoming campaign, Mr. Fourmy issued the following statement: "I was elected as one of the police jurors from Ward 10 in the January, 1944, primary election, and having served one term, creditably I believe, I know announce my intention of seeking reelection at the hands of the people of Ward 10. As a police juror I have a record of service to people, second to none; and it is a record of accomplishments of which I am proud. As a police juror I am a member of the board and finance committee, and in this capacity I have secured an adequate program of road blacktopping, which has been of real benefit to the people of our ward.
