Dianna, who was affectionately known by her students as Ms. D., was a drama teacher for more than a decade in DeWitt, Arkansas, and for 28 years for Morrilton High School. Throughout her career, she served as a second-mom for hundreds of students. Through the dramatic arts, she created an artistic outlet and safe haven for students from every walk of life and encouraged them to celebrate who they are.
She is survived by her sons, Shawn (Cindy) Denton of Morrilton and Jerod (Rebecca) Denton of Nashville, Tennessee; brother, Glen (Doris) Arey of Weatherford, Texas; sister, Janice (Jimmy) Hulsizer of Florence, Alabama; grandchildren, Damian Denton and Drew Denton of Morrilton and Parker Denton and Sawyer Denton of Nashville, Tennessee; and great grandson, Raylan Denton of Morrilton.
