Margareta nee Gasparac was born in Delnice, Croatia, the daughter of Marko Gasparac (1856-1940) and Marija nee Majnaric (1861-1908). She married Josip Racki on April 17, 1907 in Delnice. She emigrated to the U.S. in 1911. She was the mother of five children.
