Carl (Bob) Allen of 77376 Highway 99 S, Cottage Grove died August 15, 1988, of a heart attack at his home at the age of 78. He was born in Vici, Oklahoma on July 9, 1910. He married his wife, Reta Hutchens on May 6, 1934, in Kansas. They moved to Oregon in 1937. He served in the Air Force during World Warr II and was a self-employed trucker in the logging industry, building many roads throughout Oregon. He was a member of Cottage Grove Chapter No. 42 of the Royal Arch Masons and the Cottage Grove Masonic Lodge No. 51 A.F. and A.M. Besides his wife Reta, he is survived by 2 sisters: Hazel Burwell of Voca, Texas and Netti Logsdon of Vici, Oklahoma. Private Cremation was held. Smith-Lundmills Funeral Chapel, directors.
