When his parents moved to a farm on Clover Creek, Jim became a partner, along with his brother Dick. When his father died he and Dick became the owners of Mil-Ber Farms. After Dick died, Jim became owner of the farm with his sons Randy and Bryan until the farm was subsequently sold.
Jim passed away at the UPMC Altoona, PA. He was preceded in death by his parents, J. Milton and Berneda Corle, his wife, Deloris (Brumbaugh), a sister, a brother, Richard, and a daughter, Trisha Lynette Replogle.
Jim enjoyed farming, hunting, gardening, and spending time with his family. A funeral service, conducted by Eric Feathers, was held at the Fairview Church of the Brethren.
