The funeral was held at the First Methodist church in West Monroe Monday at 2 p.m. The pastor, Rev. C. K. Smith, officiated, and was assisted by Rev. E. E. Huntsberry, pastor of the First Baptist church.
Active pallbearers were B. A. Gentry, I. W. Rogers, Monroe Hammonds, Dr. J. C. Stewart, Milton Coverdale and Judge Jesse Heard.
Honorary pallbearers were G. W. Welch, T. O. Brown, J. N. Campbell, G. A. Campbell, Y. L. Griffin, Fred G. Thatcher, Ed Harrell, G. T. Harrell, Frances Ortis, James A. Noe, Joel Griggs, I. H. Redding, R. H. Simpson, R. H. Heacock, Dr. A. D. Tisdale and Dr. Frank Wood.
Mr. Anders leaves his wife, a teacher in Crosley school, in West Monroe; and one daughter, Sara Frances Anders [illegible].
