Bobbie was a Korean War Army veteran and was a lifetime member of the VFW Post No. 2590 in Carthage, MO. He graduated from Alba High School in 1947. He worked for Carthage Marble Corp. for 60 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Marvin and Marie Staats, and two sisters, Betty Yokum and Mary Ward. Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Donna Staats, formerly Donna Bayless; 6 children: Larry (Nicky) Staats, Gloria (Jim) Staats, Pam (Larry) Huebner, Randy (Pam) Staats, Curt (Mary Sue) Staats and Michelle (David) Hanneman; 13 grandchildren; and 5 great granddaughters.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Missouri Veterans Home, 1300 Veterans Road, Warrensburg, MO 64043.
