Neil and his family are incredibly grateful to the anonymous kidney donor who helped Neil enjoy an additional 18 years without having to endure dialysis. In 2006, Neil and LaNae were called to serve an LDS mission in Martin’s Cove where his favorite activity became calling square dancing to the tune of “Oh Johnny, Oh!”
As a faithful and steadfast member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, he devoted his time to many callings, including serving as a temple officiator later in life. Everyone knows him as soft spoken and gentle, never speaking an unkind word toward or about anyone. He held many titles, but his favorite was “Grandpa.”
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Stephen Neil Morgan, granddaughter Julie Ann Cook, sister LouJean Allred, and brother Doyle Morgan.
