Union, New Hampshire: Mr. Christopher A. Adjutant, age 73 of Wakefield Road in Union, NH, died at home on Sunday September 19, 2004. Born September 15, 1932 in Rochester, NH, he was the son of Joseph C. and Evelyn G. (Hill) Adjutant and was a graduate of Spaulding High School in Rochester. He resided in Union all of his life.
In earlier years, he worked in logging. He was employed for 39 years at Green Tanning Company in Milton Mills, also he had worked at the Green Tanning Co. in No. Berwick, ME and had worked at Lydall in Rochester. Mr. Adjutant was a handyman and woodworker, he enjoyed gardening and travelling. He was passionate and caring to help everyone, especially his children.
Survivors include his 3 children: Carol J. Abbott of Wolfeboro, NH, Robert A. Adjutant of Conway, NH and Vicky L. McQueen of Tampa, Florida, 2 grandchildren: Christopher and Nathaniel McQueen, 1 brother: Joseph W. Adjutant of Union, NH, also 2 Nieces, 1 Nephew and several Cousins.
A Funeral Service will be held on Friday September 24, 2004 at 11:00 am at Peaslee Funeral Home 24 Central Street in Farmington, NH with Rev. David Lindsay, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Wolfeboro Falls, officiating. There are no calling hours, family and friends are welcome to the service.
