Source for burial: Mrs. W.W. Sargent, whose mother cared for Mrs. Foglesong during her last illness. She said Mrs. Foglesong was buried in the deserted cemetery on "The Mound", just south of Montrose.
Mrs. Foglesong's grandson, William W. Crowdue. located footstone engraved "A. J. F." in the brush along path to cemetery. It is probably the "A.J.F." were the initials of Elizabeth's husband. William took the marker home to Wichita KS, the present marker location is not known.

Gravesite Details
At some point the cemetery was surrounded by pasture. Horses had knocked over the fence and trampled the markers and had obliterated all evidence of graves. However, as of 1947, the cemetery area still had many rose bushes that bloomed each summer.
