Peter is the son of Polish immigrants, Piotr Pawel and Marya (Pruss) Krawczyk.
He was born at their home in Larks Lake Michigan. He also attended school there and at St Francis Xavior school in Petoskey, Michigan
He moved to Chicago and worked there for almost 20 yrs. before returning to Emmet County June 1954.
Peter married Evelyn Oppermann in Chicago June 1940.
At the time of Peter's death he was survived by his wife, 2 sons; Victor and Thomas, a grandchild, 1 brother Walter (Barney) and 2 sisters; Irene and Marie.
