Joyce W. Condiff, 86, of Howard Lake, MN formerly of Park Rapids, passed away on Thursday, April 5th, 2018 at the Good Samaritan Center at Howard Lake, MN from complications caused by her long battle with cancer.
Joyce Wildean Moore was born February 22, 1932 at home in Hubbard, MN the daughter of John L. and Peggy L. (Benham) Moore. She was united in marriage to Leslie E. Condiff on December 23rd, 1947 in Park Rapids, MN; they were married for 45 years. They lived in Midland and Odessa, Texas where Les worked in the oil fields, before returning to Park Rapids in the early 1950's. Joyce worked as a section supervisor for the Ringer/Munsingwear/Gladding Corporation in Park Rapids from 1953 - 1980.
Joyce enjoyed growing and nurturing plants of all kinds. Joyce was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles for many years. She enjoyed sewing for her family. She also worked as a housekeeper for many area families. She will be remembered for her tenacious and resilient nature.
Joyce is survived her two sons Steven Condiff of Maplewood, MN; Allan Condiff of Pillager, MN; , three grandchildren, Kelly, Wayne and Jennifer, 3 great grandchildren Tyler, Layne ad Sadie and one Great Great granddaughter Kasey. And numerous nieces and nephews.
Joyce was preceded in death by her daughter Colynne, husband Leslie in 1993, parents John and Peggy Moore, her two sisters Lorraine Hand and Edna Meyer, and many aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, April 14, 2018 at the Cease Family Funeral Home Chapel in Park Rapids. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery in Park Rapids, MN.
Arrangements are being handled by the Cease Family Funeral Home of Park Rapids, MN.
