WAUPUN RITES, BURIAL PLANNED FOR FORMER RESIDENT THERE

John W. Haima, 67, of Friesland, a former Waupun resident, died Friday night at Waupun Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday.

He was born April 25, 1898, at Friesland, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Watsa haima. He married the former Henrietta Van Putten on Nov. 30, 1922. She preceded him in death in 1938. In 1946 he married Mrs. Lucy Maritzke who preceded him in death in 1950.

Mr. Haima had lived in Waupun all his married life, moving to Friesland in 1954 where he had lived since.

Survivors include three sons, Walter of Janesville and Gerret and Henry of Waupun; four grandchildren; and two sisters, Mrs. Sarah De Young and Mrs. Sam Sterk, both of Friesland. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, one brother and two sisters.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Kohls Co. Funeral Home, Waupun, Rev. Wendell C. Pyle of the First Reformed Church of Friesland officiating. Burial will be in Forest lawn Cemetery at Waupun. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Sunday.
