Floyd Eugene Geeslin, 71, of Ballinger, Texas passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo.

He was born September 10, 1946 in Fort Worth, Texas to Kenneth and Betty (Buckner) Geeslin.

He honorably served his country, during the Vietnam War, as a member of the Navy. He worked as a general contractor most of his life. He married Patsy Whitlock on December 12, 1975 and they shared forty-two years together. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Ballinger.

Floyd is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Kenneth M. Gesslin, Jr. and Ronnie Geeslin.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy; son Charles Winchester and wife, Cindy of Ballinger; grandson, James Winchester and wife, Stefanie; sister, Annette Birchfield and husband, Tony; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00-7:00 pm on Tuesday at Lange Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday at Lange Funeral Home Chapel with Lynn Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Old Runnels Cemetery.
