Linda Hankinson, age 70 of Paton, passed away on Monday, April 9, 2018 at the Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, IA. According to her wishes Linda wanted to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Elmwood Cemetery, Minburn, IA. Linda Ruth Hankinson was born on September 29, 1947 in Perry, IA to Francis Marion and Alice Leona (Carpenter) Little Sr. She attended school at Central Dallas High School, Minburn, IA. She retired from the Woodward Resource Center.
She was a member of the Minburn United Methodist Church and American Legion Auxiliary Unit 85 in Perry. She enjoyed playing Bingo, going to the Casino, working word puzzles and reading romance novels.
In death she rejoins her parents, Francis and Alice, grandson, Harley James Moore and a sister, Jean Sholley.
