James Ray Betts, Sr., 53 of Seymour passed away Monday, April 16, 2018 in Wichita Falls.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, April 21, 2018 at the New Birth Baptist Church in Wichita Falls. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Archer Funeral Home.
James was born October 12, 1964 in Baylor County to George Lem and Betty Lou Bowman Betts. He graduated from Hershey High School in Wichita Falls. James worked in the oilfield, as a cowboy and at Tower in Olney.
He is survived by his son, James Betts, Jr. of Seymour; a daughter, Danielle Betts Banks of Wichita Falls; a brother, David Betts of Wichita Falls and 7 grandchildren.
