Gordon Murray age 94 of Berea, formerly of Burning Springs in Clay County died Monday Nov. 27, 2006 in Lexington.Gordon is the son of the late Johnny W. and Nancy Shelton Murray. He was preceded in death by his three brothers and three sisters; Kermit Murray, Orville Murray, Don Murray, Avis Whitis, Rachel Hughes, and Thelma Miracle. One daughter Penelope Murray .Gordon is survived by his loving wife of 72 years Florence Lewis Murray of Berea, one son Lowell (Peggy) Murray of Berea. Sisters Vivian Therrel of Arkansas, Laura Irvin of Louisville, KY and Lela Hacker of Manchester, KY. Two grandchildren; Melissa (Scott) Anderson and Margaret (Mark) Merrick, and two great grandchildren; Aaron Anderson and Madelyn Merrick.
