FRANCIS MERLE ISAAC died Friday, February 6, 2009 at home at age 89. Born to Albert N. and Fannie B. Edens September 29, 1919 at Grapeland, TX. Graduated from Elkhart High School in 1936. Worked at Dow Chemical in Freeport, TX thru World War II, moved to Houston in 1946. Survivors are Ralph Isaac, husband of 61 years, two nephews and three nieces. A graveside service will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 18, 2009 at Forest Park Lawndale Cemetery. In lieu of flowers make donations to The American Cancer Society in her name.
