Roper C. Hall, Jr., 83 will have graveside services at Tennessee Colony Cemetery with his brother, Billy Ray Hall officiating.
Roper was born to Roper Calendar Hall and Isabelle Hannah Perry. He married Mildred Jeanine Wynne February 9, 1955, spending 62 years of wedded bliss with his bride. He served two years (1957-1959) in the US Army as an Artillery Surveyor. In February 1961 he joined the Houston, Texas Fire Department and served 20 years as a City Firefighter.
Roper was preceded in death by his wife; his parents; and many of his 12 siblings.
Survivors include his daughters, Georgia Louise Hale, Hannah Vernice Eggerman (Doug), Evelyn Diane Green and Lisa Marie Dupree (Joe); brothers, Billy Ray Hall and Charles Hall; sisters, Janie Baughman (Roger) and Pearl Perry.
Over their 62 years together, Roper and Mildred opened their home and gave love to many nieces, nephews and their 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.In lieu of flowers, the family asks donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
