Ruth was a homemaker whose life revolved around caring for her husband, children & grandchildren. She had also worked for a number of years as a Teacher’s Aide at the Marie Durand Elementary School. She was a lifelong member of the Redeemer Lutheran Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher. Ruth enjoyed camping & traveling and experienced many trips with her husband & family including driving to Alaska 2 times. In the winters she volunteered her time along with Richard at the Rodeheaver Boys Ranch in Palatka, Fl. She was a member of Sam’s Camping Club and enjoyed collecting Bears and doing crafts.
Ruth is survived by her husband of 68 yrs.; Richard T. Donaghy, 5 children; Susan (George) Papiano, Nancy (Chris) DiSanto, Debra (Paul) Newton, Richard T. Donaghy, II, Charles Donaghy, 7 grandchildren & 6 great grandchildren as well as several nieces & nephews.
Relatives & friends will be received on Thursday evening from 7:00-9:00 Pm at the Pancoast Funeral Home, 676 S. Main Rd., Vineland, NJ and again on Friday from 10:00-11:00 AM at the Redeemer Lutheran Church, 2384 E. Landis Ave., Vineland, NJ 08361 where her funeral service will be conducted at 11 Am. Burial will follow in the Rose Hill Cemetery, Newfield.
