DEATH OF CARL MOORE
Young Man Died Thursday After Illness of Over Four Months
Carl Moore died at the home of his grandmother, Mrs. Anna Dunn, of this city, last Thursday at four o'clock p.m. after an illness of more than four months' duration. He caught a severe cold the latter part of December last and gradually declined in health and was confined to his home and bed during the long winter months.
Carl's long illness and death was a source of sincere sorrow and regret among his relatives and many friends. He was an excellent young man of exemplary habits.
He was born January 13, 1906, at Garry Owen and was a son of the late Martin Moore, Jr., and Mrs. Nellie Dunn O'Connell, and grandson of the late Martin Moore, Sr. Since the death of his father he made his home with his grandmother, Mrs. E. W. Dunn, and family. He is survived by his mother, Mrs. Wm. O'Connell.
The funeral services were held at St. Martin's church at 9 o'clock a.m., Saturday, Rev. T. Rooney officiating and burial took place at St. Patrick's, Garry Owen.
The pallbearers were Murland, Earl and Francis Loes, Arthur McQuillen, Leo Otting and Albert Dunn, of Dubuque.
