Lindy L. Stanley, 83, died on March 24, 1999. She was a resident of Lynn Shores Manor, Virginia Beach. Lindy L. Stanley was born in MacClenny, Fla., and was formerly of Bradenton, Fla. She retired from Tropicana Inc. and was a member of Samoset Church of God in Bradenton. She is survived by her son, Joseph Ray Stanley and his wife, Bonnie, of Norfolk; son Daniel B. Stanley and his wife, Helen, of Jacksonville, Fla.; daughter, Margaret L. Van of Palmetto, Fla.; sisters, Sarah Valenti and Lois Consagra, both of Tampa, Fla., and Kizzie Borum of Florida; grandchildren, Ralph J. Stanley of Newport News and Michelle L. Anjal of Belle Haven, Va.; and great-grandchildren, Alec Anjal and Aren Anjal, both of Belle Haven. A funeral will be held at 11 a.m. today at Smith & Williams Funeral Home, Norfolk Chapel, by Dr. Paul C. Lawson. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
