PAULINE M. BARBER, 80, a homemaker, died Nov. 1, 1996, at a local care facility.

Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday at Shrine of Remembrance Funeral Home, 1730 E. Fountain Blvd. The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Shrine of Remembrance "America the Beautiful" Chapel of Roses, with the Rev. Jim Larkin officiating. Entombment will be at the Shrine of Remembrance Mausoleum.

Mrs. Barber was born April 5, 1916, in Redding, Iowa, to Ray and Mae (Griffith) Miller, who are deceased.

She was married June 20, 1959, in Des Moines, Iowa, to Wilfred "Bill" Barber, who died in 1994.

She is survived by a daughter, Shari Turner of Colorado Springs; a stepdaughter, Rebecca Stevens of Los Gatos, Calif.; a stepson, Wilfred Barber Jr. of Carrboro, N.C.; and seven grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a twin brother, Paul Miller, and a sister, Eulalie Branch.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1445 N. Union Blvd., Colorado Springs 80909; or to the Deacon Fund at First Presbyterian Church, 219 E. Bijou St., Colorado Springs 80903; or to Pikes Peak Hospice, 3630 Sinton Road, Colorado Springs 80907.
