EITHEL "JEWEL" BRADSHAW, 97, of Duncan, went to be with her Father in heaven on Tuesday, April 10, 2007, in Duncan Regional Hospital.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in Don Grantham Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Harold Metheny officiating. Graveside service will be at approximately 2 p.m. in Gracemont (Okla.) Cemetery.
Eithel Jewel was born Nov. 11, 1909, in Alco, Ark., to Robert and Arminity Long. She was a resident of Gracemont from 1935 until December of 1981, when she moved to Duncan. She was married to Ray Bradshaw, who preceded her in death on Oct. 20, 1983.
She had a good sense of humor and was a loving person. She will be truly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her children, Jean Garrison, Ray Bradshaw Jr. and his wife Judy, Avis Tilley and her husband Ray, and Dortha "Dot" Wiley, all of Duncan; her grandchildren, Jimmy Embree of Duncan, Vicky Morgan of Oklahoma City, Susie Foley of Newalla, David Snelson, Craig Bradshaw of Oklahoma City, Pam Crumbly of Spring, Texas, Kathy Coleman of Duncan, Teresa Moore of Philadelphia, Mo., Davie Melvin of Bethany and D'Anna Weidman of Waco, Texas.
Also, great-grandchildren, Dustin Foley of Newalla, Robert Snelson of Oklahoma City, Jessica and Jennifer Bradshaw of Edmond, Paul and Jon Crumbly of Spring, Brian Wilson, Clay Wilson and Mitch Wilson, all of Duncan, Katie Schall of Yukon, Stephen Hunter of St. Louis, Mo., James Moore of St. Charles, Mo., Toney and Lyndsay Melvin of Bethany, and Maverick Weidman of Waco; and great-great-grandchildren, Danielle Jordan and Kurt Schall of Yukon, and Kialee and Timothy Foley of Newall.
She is also survived by brothers-in-law, Dean Bradshaw of Cyril, and Jack Fletcher of Mountain View, Ark.; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Strickland of Fresno, Calif., Verna Graham of Tulare, Calif., and Jean Everett of Mountain View; and many nieces, nephews and friends in Gracemont and Duncan.
Bearers will be grandsons, David Melvin, Craig Bradshaw, Brian Wilson, James Embree, Clay Wilson and David Snelson.
