OBITIARY FOR MRS.JENNIE (HARVEY) GREGG
Jenny Lynn, daughter of Flora and Cash Harvey, was born February 11 1882 at Lawrence KS. She departed this life at her home in Creighton, Mo, July 27 1958 at the age of 76 years, 5 months and 16 days.
She was united in marriage to William Nelson Gregg September 17 1902. To this union six children were born. They are Mrs. Elmer {Zola} Doll, Kansas City Mo, Ivan Gregg and Mrs Glenn {Grace Leota} Pullen, Independence Mo, Mrs Ray {Veula} Hough, Holden, Mo, Melvin Gregg, Independence Mo and Mrs John {Cloeva} Hodges of Adrian Mo.
She professed her faith in the Lord in 1921 at the Baptist church in Garden City Mo but later moved her membership to the Church of God at Creighton. She was a faithful member till her death.
She is survived by her six children, 13 grandchildren, 13 greatgrandchildren, five half-sisters and one half-brother. Also other relatives and a host of friends. She was always a kind, unselfish and loving mother, always thinking of the welfare of her loved ones first.
Funeral services were held in the Creighton Christian church July 29, Rev. Mrs. walter Barth of Urich officiated. Music was by Mr and Mrs Everett Shulse, Mrs Harold Jordan and Walter Barth. Mrs. Wilbur Barth was pianist. Mrs George Heller was organist.
Casketbearers were: Richard Gregg, Kenneth Doll, George Milburn, Mike Hedges, Hurley and Dennis Hough. Burial was in Grant cemetery under direction of Atkinson-Dickey.
