Near Denver.
Rebecca (Root) widow of Richard Wenrich died Sunday evening from a complication of ailments at the home of a son, John Wenrich near Denver, aged 74 years.
These children survive: Susan, wife of Frank Eberly, near Stevens; Minnie, wife of Martin Gosteffon; and Esther, wife of James Stuber, of near Schoeneck; Stephen, Edna Wife of Frank Hirneisen, and Raymond of Schoeneck; Clinton, near Reinholds; Carrie, wife of Adam Showalter, Sinking Spring and John of near Denver.
A number of grandchildren and great grandchildren survive, besides two sisters, Mrs Caroline Eberly and Lizzie, wife of Adam Goshert of Schoeneck, and a brother John Root of Ephrata. She was a member of the Reformed denomination.
Funeral will be held this after noon at 1:30 from the home of the son, John and at 2 o'clock in Mellinger's Lutheran church near Schoeneck, followed by interment in the adjoining cemetery, the Rev. H.C. Snyder officiating. Funeral Director H. M. Mellinger of Denver is in charge of arrangements."
