Carl H. Pooch, 95, passed away at St. Monica Senior Living on Thursday, April 12, 2018.
Carl was born in Racine on June 17, 1922 to William and Amanda (nee: Ulrich) Pooch. He served in the United States Army Air Corps. Carl worked for Walker Manufacturing until his retirement. On November 2, 1974, he was united in Marriage to Janet Konecny. She preceded him in death on January 4, 1993. Carl enjoyed playing cribbage and riding his bike. He was a country music fan and liked attending Country Fest.
Carl is survived by his children, Mary Ann (Rocco) Moat, Bill (Sherry) Pooch, James (Lynn) Konecny, Nancy (Jerry) Gayhart, Jerry (Cindy) Konecny and JoAnn (Al) Christensen; 13 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brother Leonard Pooch.
Funeral services for Carl will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, April 21, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Graceland Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet with the family from 8:30 a.m. until the time of services. Memorials to New Hope Lutheran Church have been suggested.
