Dorothy and Frank lived in Beaumont for twenty-two years where they were members of South Park Baptist Church. Dorothy was very devoted to her faith and taught Sunday School for many years. After moving to Lumberton in 1977 they became members of First Baptist Church of Lumberton. Dorothy worked for the White House for a number of years but enjoyed her life as a homemaker much more. She loved decorating her home, working in the yard, cooking, and being with her family.
Dorothy and Frank were the perfect example of an inseparable, loving, and devoted couple. Their family is blessed knowing that they are now together in peace for eternity.
We would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Silsbee Oaks Nursing Home for the care she was given while there.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, April 7, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Dorothy's Life service at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home Chapel with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Beaumont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist Church of Lumberton, 119 Church Loop, Lumberton, Texas 77657.
