LINDEN - Donald A. “Dob” Powell, Sr., passed away Thursday, April 12, 2018 at the Manor Care North, Williamsport.
He was married to the former Betty J. (Barlet), who survives, on July 23, 1955. They have celebrated almost 63 years as husband and wife.
Donald was the son of the late James and Emma (Zettle) Powell. He worked for Sylvania for over 35 years and retired in 1989.
In addition to his wife Betty, he is survived by two sons; Donald A. Powell, Jr. (Malinda) of Jersey Shore and Mark A. Powell (Tammy) of Williamsport, one daughter; Beth L. Getgen (Bart) of Williamsport, seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by on daughter; Debra N. Powell, one brother; Robert Powell and four sisters; Louise Crawford, Lois Shannon, Marjorie Johnson and Loraine Hann.
Interment will be private in Montoursville Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
