Gale Warner was the son of John Adam and Maggie Irene (Richardson) Warner. According to the obituary, Gale's family were pioneers who settled in Bronson in 1829. It states that Gale's grandfather was the first white child born in Bronson. (They were referring to Elias T. Richardson, born in MI in 1830.) In the 1930 U.S. Census, Gale was listed in Bronson, Branch, MI with his parents. According to family information, Gale Halley was named after Halley's comet, which was visible in earth's sky in April 1910. Gale was buried on Jan 29, 2000 in the same lot as Maggie Warner and near John Warner.
