BINNIE - Phyllis, 83, Saxonburg, Pa. formerly of Johnstown, passed away peacefully on April 10, 2018 at Saxony Health Center in her sleep. Born April 11, 1934, daughter of James and Fern (Wright) Addleman. Preceded in death by parents and husband John R. Binnie, Sr. who died October 3, 2010. Survived by sons John (Lori) Binnie, Jr., Johnstown, and Allen Binnie, Pittsburgh. Also granddaughter Deanna Binnie, Johnstown, and loving relatives and friends. 1953 graduate of Johnstown High School. Phyllis loved dancing, hunting and traveling. Was a LPN and later an RN at both Lee and Memorial Hospitals in Johnstown. After retirement she was a parish nurse for the Oakland United Methodist Church continuing the care she loved doing for others. Friends received from 10am to the time of service at 11am Friday at Henderson Funeral Home-East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., with Pastor Randy Bain officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to help with funeral expenses, via www.hendersonfuneralhome.com
