MRS RYBURN CLAY DIES AT RESIDENCE
Wife of Fulton National Bank President Was Active in Junior League.

Mrs Ryburn G Clay, wife of the president of the Fulton National Bank and member of a socially prominent family, died last night at the residence, 21 Cherokee road, following a brief illness.

Mrs Clay was a member of the Junior League and active in social affairs since er debut. She was the former Miss Cathering Sanders, daughter of Mrs Inman Sanders and the late Mr Sanders.

Her mother, who survives, was the former Miss Catherine Gay, the daughter of the late Mr and Mrs Edward S Gay, prominent in the city's social and civic life.

Besides her husband and her mother, surviving are a daughter, Miss Zadia Clay; a son, Ryburn G Clay Jr, and three aunts, Mrs Thomas B Paine, of Atlanta, Mrs John W Somerville, of South Mountain, Pa, and Mrs Phillip Kunzig, of Bronxville, New York.

Funeral arrangements will be announced by H M Patterson & Son.

Distinguished Georgian Will Rest in West View Cemetery Here.

Final rites for Mrs Ryburn G Clay, wife of the president of the Fulton National Bank, who died Thursday night, will be held at 2 o'clock this afternoon at Spring Hill, with Rev John Moore Walker officiating. Private burial will be in West View cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Charles H Cox, Richard H Hardwick, Henry W Wyatt, F W Blalock, G C Evans, J H Johnston Jr, J J Chambers and Dr G Pope Huguley.

Mrs Clay died at her home, 21 Cherokee road, after a brief illness.

She was the former Miss Catherine Sanders, daughter of Mr and Mrs Inman Sanders, prominent Georgians. Her mother was on a trip to South America at the time of Mrs Clay's death.

A member of the Junior League and several similar organizations, Mrs Clay had been active in social affairs of Atlanta since her debut.
