Mrs. Rebekah Lambkin Dies At Her Son's Home

Mrs. Rebekah Lambkin, aged seventy-two years, died at 2:50 o'clock yesterday afternoon at the home of her son, J.B. Lambkin, 136 South Twenty-fifth street. She was taken sick five months ago with yellow jaundice while she was on a visit to one of her daughters in Sulphur Springs, and she had never recovered. She was a native of Missouri and was the widow of Rev. J.B. Lambkin, Sr. who was a Baptist minister. She came here from Salisbury with her husband twenty-five years ago. He died a year ago last July.

She is survived by three sons and four daughters. One of the sons, J.B. Lambkin, with whom she had been making her home for the past seventeen years, and one of the daughters, Mrs. Ed Wall, reside in Paris. The other children live in Fort Smith, Gracemont and Shawnee OK., and Birmingham, Ala. Two sons from Fort Smith, W.J. Lambkin and wife and John Lambkin and grandson, Sterling Matlock, were present when she died.

The funeral service will be held at 3 o'clock this afternoon at the home of her son, J.B. Lambkin, conducted by Rev. W. B. Kendall. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery
