BOATWRIGHT, Mr. John H. Sr. age 76, of Dayton, passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007 at Grafton Oaks Nursing Center. A native of McRae, Georgia and a Dayton resident a number of years. A retired employee of Standard Register with over 30 years of service. He was a member and Deacon of Shiloh Baptist Church; the Masonic Order, Equity Lodge 121. Preceded in death by his parents, William & Emma Boatwright. Survivors include his wife, Dorothy Chase Boatwright; 2 sons, John H., Jr. & Gary Boatwright, all of Dayton; 1 granddaughter, Joy; 2 sisters, Gerry Foster, Clarkye (Jessie) Wilks; 2 sisters-in-law, Charlesetta Boatwright, Mildred Boatwright, of Atlanta, GA; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral service will be held 11 am Friday, March 2, 2007 at Shiloh Baptist Church, 3801 Fairbanks Avenue. Rev. Timothy Newkirk, Pastor; Rev. Jerry Copeland, Eulogist. Interment West Memory Gardens. Visitation 9 am Friday at the church until the time of service. Family will receive friends one hour prior to service. Arrangements entrusted to the HOUSE OF WHEAT Funeral Home, Inc., 2107 North Gettysburg Avenue. Special thanks to Arbors at Dayton, Grafton Oaks Nursing Center and Good Samaritan Hospital.
