Garlyn M. Kimm, 81, of Norway, IA passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 in her home.
Services are 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, April 11, 2018 at St. Michaels Catholic Church, Norway with Father Craig Steimel officiating. Burial will take place at St. Michaels Cemetery, Norway.
Visitation is 4-7 p.m. Tuesday, April 10, 2018 at St. Michaels Parish Hall.

Garlyn was born September 8, 1936 to Eldred and Lila (Emanuel) Brecht in rural Watkins, IA. She graduated from Norway High School in 1954.
Following high school, she started her family and began working for Collins Radio until her retirement in 1991.
Garlyn enjoyed crossword puzzles, gardening, shopping, going for walks, traveling, and always kept a tidy home.
She is survived by her children, Kevin (Sandy) Kimm, Debra (Paul) Schutterle, Claudia Kimm, Tom (Lori) Kimm, Karen (Dave Berger) Kimm, and Bill Kimm; 15 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; sister, Beth (Richard) Haage; brothers, Bill (Mary) Brecht, Terry (Linda) Brecht; sisters -in-law, Joy Brecht and Bernice Brecht along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Garlyn is preceded in death by her parents; companion of 25 years, Clarence Kramer; grandson, Dustin Stoddard; brothers, Richard, John, Eldon, Gary and infant sister, Donna.
