Charlie H (Uncle Charlie) Hardeman, 80, a retired farmer, died Wednesday morning at the home of a daughter, Mrs F L Underwood of 256 Lakewood Ave, Southwest.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 pm Friday at the New Hope Baptist Church, with the Rev J W William officiating. Burial will be in Roseland Park Cemetery.
Mr Hardeman was born in Tucker, the son of the late Dave and Frances Tucker Hardeman. Tucker, Ga, was named for his mother's family who first settled there. Mr Hardeman was a member of the New Hope Baptisst Church.
Surviving are two other daughters, Mrs W O Dahlgren of t Lauderdale, Fla, and C D Wilson of Tampa, Fla; two sisters, Mrs Mary Locke and Mrs Fannie Parker of Atlanta; nine grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
