Donald Eugene Ottinger, 71, of Sonora died Monday at his residence.
Mr. Ottinger was a native of Michigan. He lived in the San Jose- Morgan Hill area 25 years and in Sonora the past two years. He was an electrician for FMC Corp. for 25 years and a member of International Association of Machinists & Aerospace Workers Local 562. He was a military veteran of World War II, serving in Europe.
He is survived by his sons, Sterling Ottinger of Soulsbyville and D. Dale Ottinger of Soldatna, Alaska; and seven grandchildren.
A funeral will be held at 10 a.m. today at Mount Calvary Lutheran Church in MiWuk. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Oak Hill Memorial Park, San Jose. Terzich & Wilson Funeral Home of Sonora is in charge of arrangements.
